Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. If You Need to Cancel

Life happens — we get it. How much you get back depends on when you tell us relative to your scheduled pickup:

2. If We Need to Cancel on Our End

It is rare, but sometimes a car develops a problem, needs emergency maintenance, or something completely outside our control happens. If we have to pull the plug on a confirmed booking:

• We will let you know as early as we possibly can.
• We will try to give you a different car in the same category or better, at no extra charge.
• If we genuinely cannot offer a suitable replacement, you get every rupee back — 100 percent.

3. Bringing the Car Back Early

If you finish your trip sooner than expected and return the car ahead of schedule, the rental fee for the days you did not use is not refunded. The rate you agreed to at booking stands.

4. Running Late on the Return

We give you a 30-minute buffer past the agreed return time. After that window closes:

• Up to 3 hours late: You will be charged for an extra half day.
• More than 3 hours late: A full additional day’s charge kicks in.
• If late returns become a pattern without any heads-up, we may apply extra penalties.

If you know you are going to be late, just give us a call beforehand. We are usually able to work something out.

5. Changing Your Booking

Want to switch dates, pick a different car, or change from self-drive to chauffeur? We can usually accommodate that as long as you ask at least 24 hours before your pickup and the new option is available.

If the change brings the price down, we refund the difference. If it goes up, you will need to pay the extra amount before the new pickup time.

6. Getting Your Deposit Back

Once you hand the car back and we finish our inspection, the deposit heads back to you. Before that happens, we may deduct for:

• Missing fuel — if the tank is lower than when you took the car
• Damage that goes beyond normal everyday wear
• Traffic fines that came in while the car was in your hands
• Extra cleaning costs — for example, if someone smoked inside or left heavy stains
• Any late-return charges that apply

If everything checks out and there is nothing to deduct, you get the full amount back.

7. How and When Refunds Arrive

We send the money back through the same channel you used to pay:

• UPI: typically lands in 1 to 3 working days
• Bank transfer: 3 to 7 working days
• Credit or debit card: 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank’s processing speed
• Cash: collected from our office during working hours

8. If You Disagree with a Charge

Think a cancellation fee or deposit deduction is unfair? Reach out to us within 7 days of the transaction. We will go through the details, explain our reasoning, and try to find a resolution that works. If we still cannot agree, the matter goes to the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
